Access information

Comedy comes in many forms and The UK Kids’ Comedy Festival has always tried to reflect that in the events programmed and the people who are involved in creating each festival. This approach has existed since Leicester Comedy Festival began in 1994 and has resulted in numerous projects and partnerships with organisations across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. We’re proud of the work we do with others, as we try and ensure the festival remains “a pretty broad grin” (The Guardian) for as many people as possible.

For a handy access guide to festival venues, you can request by emailing The guide gives some information about physical access to the majority of our venues. If you have specific queries or questions, please contact the venue direct.
