Our activities currently take place across Leicester and Leicestershire, including at Curve, The Y Theatre, and many community centres, libraries and schools – so there’s something for everyone. Loving Laughing is an annual showcase of the comedic talents of primary school children, as part of Leicester Comedy Festival and The UK Kids’ Comedy Festival.
Laugh Academy is a dedicated half-term programme for aspiring teenagers to develop their skills and experience of performing live comedy with a showcase at the end of the week.
Joke Spot is a pop-up, interactive, touring activity ideal for anyone under 18 who wants to know what it’s like to be a comedy performer.
Author Events are a series of readings, workshops and events in partnership with Leicester’s only independent bookshop, Fox Books. We provide opportunities for children and young people to connect directly with their favourite authors!
Kicks Does Comedy is a programme with Leicester City in the Community working with young people to develop their confidence and self-esteem through performing live comedy.
Arts Award Centre – As a registered Arts Award Centre we have a wide offering of various activities that provide opportunities for all levels of Arts Award. In advance of our 2024 festival we are working hard to develop and formalise our offer, keep an eye on our website and social media for updates.
